For some reason, my stockpiles aren't being properly used.

This seems to be limited to food stockpiles, I've got custom stockpiles for drink, plants/meat/fish and finished food/milled/prepared stuff.
They seem to acknowledge that the stockpiles are there, since they put up the standard empty barrel, but they never fill the stockpile with the desired materials. They used to work several seasons ago, but recently all my plants end up dying, and my brewery is filled to the brim.

I've been using the cleanmap.exe liberally due to troll blood all over... If that can cause this. Apart from that, no other utilities.

Are the stockpiles set to allow enough barrels?
Do you actually have enough empty barrels (i.e. more than the "Reserved" number specified from the Stock[p]ile designation menu)?
Do you have any other items blocking the stockpile (e.g. mined stone)?

No.... but apparently there is a "ignore food" in the refuse orders menu that I've seemed to enable....
