In my mod, the trolls have the following tag at the creature level:

[CHILD:13]

It works very well. However, I recently got this:



Important parts badly highlighted or circled.

She's twelve, but the [CHILD] tag says that the coming-of-age time is 13.

There's a justification, of course; her caste doesn't live long, 24-48 years. So the game overrides the raws for gameplay convenience?

Try and mod dwarves to live shorter than 12 years.  It's extremely interesting.  In certain eugenics testing, it resulted in worldgen that would occur normally enough, but any dwarves that arrived would arrive as "adults" who were younger than 12, and would die within a year, making for an extremely interesting fort where every migrant would quickly die.

Very strange things happen when you change ages sometimes...
