Bush may very well be smarter than he lets on. Case in point, he's actually a Harvard graduate.

You know what they call someone who graduates at the bottom of his class in medical school? A doctor.

And this is a great parallel because Harvard has such an obviously long history of accepting inept students. If someone graduates at the bottom of his class there he must be the lowest of the low.

Hah hah that would almost work if it a given that one automatically graduates medical school.

Turns out it is really hard, so even if you are at the bottom of your class (which means nothing anyway) you are still fully qualified as a doctor.

Indeed. Not to mention how hard it is just to get in in the first place, or that most people have ups and downs all the time, and this is particularily true of the gauntlet that is medical school.
