if you get angry, take it out on a pillow or sofa (soft, not hard).

If someone has serious temper issues, it only feeds their violent impulses even if they're letting it out on inanimate objects. Really angry people are like alcoholics, you can't let them have a drink every now and then just to "help them calm down": they'll have to learn to work it out in different, non-aggressive ways that help them to improve both socially and mentally.

Well, hey, even though my mom did beat me as a kid, and threatened to kill me once (by fire) I forgive her for that. Not to say I do not think she is right, but hating her is not going to solve anything, and nor will telling the OP to die either.

I think everyone no matter how heinous a crime they committed, can be forgiven. Although the last time some punk tried to hurt me I broke his legs and took all of his clothes. Haha...

This guy did not ask for sympathy. This being the Life Advice forum people take it upon ourselves to (surprise!) provide advice, and that is all they did.

It does not matter what the guy did. The reality here is that several people provided advice on how to improve the situation for all parties involved, while you made no attempts to do so at all. It is also extremely ignorant of you to think that everybody has the same beliefs as you and to assume that you would know what somebody would or would not do.

If you aren't here to help, the Life Advice forum is not the place for you to be.

People do not forgive based on the severity of the action- they forgive based on the reasons that action happened.
