Yes, the tileset is letters  . Genesis (Deon's Mod) has a graphics tileset or the normal ASCII tileset. The graphics uses pictures instead of letters. If you could search up what a roguelike game is, you will know what ASCII will be. Kind of simplified graphics.

And to the thread creator, Genesis adds what most mods have (like Wanderer's friend for one) and adds more from the creators (You now have special leather armor instead of normal leather.). But if you are going with Genesis, pick the ASCII one. The graphics is partly outdated since Deon is working on the ASCII.
