The Accidental Adventure of Jim
« on: August 29, 2011, 05:08:29 am »

I'm posting this here for a developer friend of mine. He's in need of some graphical assistance and I offered to post here for him. If you want to help send me a pm.

The Accidental Adventure Of Jim:

This game was originally created for Ludum Dare 72 hour jam. It's best described as a 'storyline pong'. In the game you use your arrow keys and enter to control it entirely, when an enemy notices you they approach you and you engage in pong. I've got some planned features for the game, like spells and abilties that make the ball or paddle act differently and equipment to change how hard you hit back the ball or how many hitpoints you have. At the moment there's only one track of music (thanks, Irtimid), and a single level. Once you defeat the hunchback the game is over.

Story is that Jim is an escaping convict misinterpreted as a hero come to save the princess, this is not yet explored because the game is unfinished :)

Not really.
But if he ever got something financial with it of course the artist would get a fair cut of it.
