Military Squad names

Self-explanatory. I want to be able to name a squad myself if I deem the chosen dwarven name impairing my ability to rapidly determine the specifics of a squad.

Ex: "Cavemen"

The underequipped migrant mooks that die horribly fighting the cavern horrors. I like to have guards posted at the entrance to my fort and at the connecting entrance to the caverns from the rest of my fort. If I were able to name a squad I could have better control with the supply of fresh bodies among other stuff.

My thought is random generation as default but you can 'nickname' the squads like you can a dwarf

I guess simplicity is king after all.

Now - How can we push this to the top of the food chain? Is there some special box we can put stuff that seems especially appropiate and self-explaining?

Do we have to hire husky hounds to deliver it to toady and train it to bite him if he doesn't take our note?

Please vote if you support this small change. Its so easy to do, and so minute, that if it gets a top rating it would be easy for Toady to justify adding it.

Me neither, if you re-read the suggestion and the one posted in the suggestion contest polls you'll see that its just the option to name it yourself thats wanted. I have no wish to borify "The Sacked Nuts" etc.

The third option would be to treat it like the fortress/group name selection, where you can keep generating new random names, or build a name from the various LANGUAGE_SYMBOL tokens.

(As a related issue, it would be nice if you could move squads up and down the squad list, to make it easier to keep track of your crossbow/melee/civilian squads).
