So this is my second attempt at an RTD, after Roll to Space died of malnutrition and lack of forethought. However, this shouldn't do that, because I've already come up with the universe in which it takes place! Which is also, coincidentally, the one where this takes place. I'll try to update as much as I can at a once per week minimum. If you are gone for more than a week, you will get auto'd. Auto'd three times, and your character dies and someone on the waitlist steps in.
 So... let the game begin?

Rules: Doesn't deserve a spoiler - just standard d6 RTD. You may gain new abilities if you succeed enough times. I'll accept 6 people, then build a waitlist.

It's 5038, shortly after World War 4. Mankind has discovered various ways in which to implement genetics, including the discovery that psychic capabilities are tied to one's eye color. However, mankind has still yet to discover a decent system for government, and the world is still quite fragmented, especially after the landmass-changing bombings of the most recent war. You will all start as citizens of the Kingdom of Toast, given a mission to unite the world by any means necessary by the good King Siegfried. However, he cannot really fund your efforts as most of the royal treasury is going towards war relief efforts. The world is also generally segregated by a class system, also based on eye color. Generally, red is below purple is below blue is below teal is below green. Yellow eyes are rare and usually end up becoming gods of some kind. Magic does exist, and is usually contextually taken as using psychic abilities not normally used by someone of your class.

Tl;dr: Hi-tech setting with (for the moment) medeival government. Everyone has psychic powers based on their eye color.

He never knew his parents, and believes that his search for traditional folk music actually represents his search for his own beginnings. He wants to find the origin story, and the original emotion. The only thing left of his parents are his trusty outdoors knife and his traditional folk accordion. Dressed unremarkably, he likes to sport a pipe - he has a vague intuition his father did so.

That was totally not because I forgot to add it in. Yup. Totally.....You have some money now, as does Scotty. You may change your actions dependent on this if you wish.

Wolfchild and Talarion, you guys are in. But, just for future reference, all eye colors are prevalent except for yellow/orange/brown/black/white. However, that doesn't mean a specific red-eye wouldn't get shunned, as red-eyed people are typically seen as varying between barely human enough for manual labor/farming to less than dirt depending on where you go.
