Ok, to start off, why is the sky so deadly.  I have a reproducable crash (not of the game, just of the sky crashing into my dwarves O_O) involving a collapsing sky when I try to strip mine.  I'll try to give a visualization here:

D = miner
G = ground
R = ramp

Please note, all I have to mine is one tile.  It may be related to disappearing ramps when I mine out the ground behind them first, but this is a very deadly bug.

Bug 2:
Recently I dug ramps down to a murky pool so that there was water available just in case someone got thirsty.  The result was my miners completed the ramps and stood in the pool.  I was confused at first until I realized that my miners could not figure out how to use wet ramps to leave the pool.  I tried as well with a stairwell and still no luck.  They would rather starve than to try to climb out of there.

Wierd Behavior:
Dwarves, when given a complete blueprint of a multistory building with a roof will start first on the whole stairs, build up to the roof, and then build the building from the top down.  This defies conventional logic where you build supports first!  I can only imagine that they do so to get out of the sun as fast as possible.

I believe for the last one, dwarves will build things in reverse order from how you designated them - i.e the last thing you told them to build, they build first. so if YOU start from the ground up, they start from the roof down.

also the sky crushing your dwarf is incredibly funny.
