Rip one of the light sources off the wall, and throw it at the mysterious object. This will probably set it on fire.

It is obviously the holy relic of the Dark Lord Inglip.

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

It is the victim's corpse! Wearing Zoosmell's hat! Perhaps taking and wearing the hat will cause the corpse to reanimate.

Scene shift!
You are Mahestron Oonus, the High Priest of the Dark God Inglip, and you are just moving down your secret passage,
about to push open the secret door into your sacrificial altar-room, where you have a kitten ready for sacrificing.
*sniff* Wait, what's that? You smell pipe smoke! You hate pipe smoke! Someone dares meddle in the Dark Lord's affairs?!
Inventory:
Black velvet robes w/ pentagram designs <worn over body>
Black velvet hood <worn on head>
Tighty-whities <worn on groin>
Cliched sacrificial dagger <held in left hand>

I hope this is ok!

Heretic! The followers of Inglip wear crimson robes.

It is the fabled BFG 9000! Claim it as your own.

As you ponder what to do, you hear a gigantic explosion and see three figures rush through! They nab the glowing item and then before disappear around a corner!

Roll To Decide on a Plot: It is dark. You are likely to eat somebody.
« Reply #71 on: August 25, 2011, 12:00:27 pm »

[1] It is obviously an ancient artifact, the type of which makes a boulder fall from the ceiling and roll after you. Ignore it.
[2] Rip one of the light sources off the wall, and throw it at the mysterious object. This will probably set it on fire.
[3] You are now a grue.
[4] It is the victim's corpse! Wearing Zoosmell's hat! Perhaps taking and wearing the hat will cause the corpse to reanimate.
[5] You are Mahestron Oonus, the High Priest of the Dark God Inglip
[6] It is the fabled BFG 9000! Claim it as your own.

[3] In the meanwhile, somewhere else in the dungeon, a grue has awoken up from its nap. It has slept long and deeply, for it has eaten some victorian idiot passing by when his lamp oil ran out. But now it is hungry again. Grues are never full for long.

Unaware that, a few moments ago, a fat Belgian has briefly entered the dungeon, it sets out for the hunt for some tasty kobold snack. Or maybe even a succulent dwarf!
It doesn't really matter to the grue, as long as it gets some tasty meat in between its fangs.

Iiiit.... HUNGERS.....

Turning the corner at the end of the passage way, the grue comes face to face with a herd of angry mammoths raging across the prehistoric siberian plain. The mammoths are persued by kobolds mounted on sabretooth tigers!

Punch through a wall like the Kool-Aid Man and eat the poor kobolds on the other side.
