Option 2 the bigger our space station the more ships we can make the more money we can make.

Ships sell automatically, your haulers are popular, someone will buy it as fast as it built, but profit is slightly random

We don't need more dock space until we get more assembly lines, and we have one free space right now. If you don't want to hire any help, then you could try for larger dock space as a more spacious hull as we're currently designing will be a bigger hull. Or, we could just build more assembly lines, or any combination of them.

You're assuming we'll always be able to sell everything we build right away.  That's not an assumption I want to make, which also factors into hiring choices.  Let's say we only sold five ships next turn- we'd have six empty dock spaces, but the capability to make nine ships.  Any time spent not making things is lost profit potential.

We should probably wait until we can build a new part before we make a new production line- we don't want to have to reconfigure things too much.

Targeting and manoeuvrability could be very useful for a tug-boat. And stealth freighters would be good for pirate evasion. Anyone who actually pilots a vehicle would appreciate ergonomics. I would expect a cruise liner to require a completely different skill related more to cargo...

You don't need to store ships\modules. In fact you can't store, everything that you produce will be sold immediately. It's a bit unrealistic but in that way I can ignore production cost and it's a lot easier for me.

Also, I ask to use format like this :

1) Start of turn decision ( In that turn it's hiring, but you'll get a decision almost every turn)
2) Ship and module production orders
3) Engineer assignments
4) Manager's action for turn

It's much easier to interpret

We'd need clarification on what excatly ergonomics does for us, I suppose.  In any case, it'd give us more luxurious ships- does the market exist in this area for Cadillac freighters?

We should keep the contact numbers of these folks- they'd all make decent hires at a later date.

Presumably it gives ships that are more comfortable, can let the pilot handle greater accelerations, have lesser risk of injury, etc. Basicaly, improving the conditions of humans onboard in evry way.

Anyway, we can't even make freighters now. What we have is essentially tugboat. We should research cargo hold.

Ergonomics may give
a) Comfort
b) Safety
c) Less minimum crew per module (read: less hull points per module)
d) Better handling
e) other

If I understood correctly general consensus is

1) Hire Tavian
2) Build 9 Llamas
3) Engineers continue current projects
4) Look for options for new assembly lines and docks

Am I right?

In that case, Ergo's pretty good.

1) Hire Tavian
2) Build 9 Llamas
3) Engineers continue current projects
4) Look for options for new assembly lines and docks

Works for me, except we need docks first.

New month is not as good as previous, pirates have blown up a caravan with iron ore and you was forced to buy steel for a higher price. You sold your Llamas to different companies, but due to increased production cost you got only 2000 profit, 1200 of which went to Tavian
_____
You sister with a minor help from Tavian developed a new hull. His advices did help to turn the new hull from not usable, to uncomfortable
____
Another project is going well but there are a conflict between your sister and Tavian. You sister want more power at any cost, but Tavian insist that her design is way too unsafe. You should say your word
_____
During the month you decided that you need to expand  production and searched for good contracts

1) You can buy standard assembly lines for 3000 each, then you'll only have to adapt it for anything you want.
2) Bankrupted "Guns for fun and profit" sells 3 assembly lines for 5000 each. Additionally, if you buy at least one line you'll get blueprints for 12mm machine-guns. It's designed for infantry, but after some tweaking you may use it as a light ship based weapon
3) Local constructors said that new size 1 docks will cost 10000(2500monthly) each and should be ready in 4 months time. Size 2 docks will cost 24000 (4000 monthly) and will be ready in 6 months time, upgrade from size 1 to size 2 costs 20000(5000monthly) and will take 4 month time.
4) Also, there are a size 3 dock for loan, 5000 credits monthly
____
You got a letter from the Imperial Bank. They offer 50 000 credit, you are expected to repay it with 10 monthly payments, 7500 each, it's a nice offer, you know that you'll not find better interests easily
