There you were, not having to worry about anything anymore after having been suddenly transmuted from leaf to navy-hued crystal, trying to position yourself in a way that would make a reflective variation of morse code to attract a fairly nice looking shade of dark blue in the distance, when some armored wizard pierces your branch and another leaf's, grabs you, and tosses you and the other into a giant pot. He then throws in another object, which doesn't look too ver-OWOWOWOW.
...A few minutes later, you find yourself inside the same pot, but stuck to the other crystal. He says Hi, then asks how he can say hi, since you are both just inchlong, somewhat transparent navy crystals. You both then try to move away, but get reminded of how you were before the OW-ness. There are a couple of other crystals laying in the pot, in the state you'd now call dead. Then again, this pot was painful to be in, and you can see much more definitively now than before, the sky seems to be made out of ice that somehow hasn't melted yet. Or maybe become a dwarf and diggy a hole, crystals look sharper than leaves. So much to do, too little way to decide upon it! You tip over in your confusion and end up atop Hi.
Like Nanite, but on the other end of the probability slider due to it being a magic-powered eventual swarm of connected crystals instead of a eventual swarm of nano-scale robotics.
Singular crystals will have nothing to recharge their spark from, and will quickly dischage into the surroundings pointlessly and become an inanimate hunk of crystal again, thus to get anywhere you start with a duo. This will be in the WIZARD world, but since thats hardly been actually defined very much for various reasons except somewhat broadly, you don't really need to read that whole thing to know where we are or what there is nearby. (We aren't too near Vix, Zion, or Violentrix anyway, this was some other wizard stumbling upon the recipe, though we may see them later. The wizard is not good enough to control the you, though) There are 10 other crystals laying in the pot, you need 20 to process more than two-part instructions.
