All I'm saying is that we need to be extraordinarily cautious when dealing with railguns, because the recoil WILL be immense no matter how big we are.

If you want to do that math, it'd actually be pretty simple.

Let M1, V1 equal the mass and velocity of projectile.
Let M2, V2 equal the mass and velocity of creature launching it.

M1 * V1 = M2 * V2   (From conservation of momentum)

Since we don't quite know the actual masses of the crystals, we can pretend they'd all be the same. If you just sub in 1kg per crystal for simplicities sake, the units will cancel out anyway. Then given the velocity of projectile and the number of crystals in projectile as well as the number of crystals in our body, we've got everything we need to isolate and solve for an estimate.

Also, who says we'll even achieve mach speed? The mechanics for our crystals are magic, not electromagnetic (electromagic?). Since magic does not exist in our world, Aklyon has all the ability in the world to just make the physics work how he wants ; )

Physics has been killed, sacrificed atop the forth wall for power, and then borrowed from another forum game to fix it afterwards in WIZARD. Theres also a metaphysical plane that reverses featherfall into an anti-gravity spell and is full of successful roguelike characters hidden inside a fog maze, a town that is on fire, and flying elephants that knock you back into the real world if they land on you.

I'd say its pretty easy to make anything possible at this point. ;)

The Cryswarm lines up into two wings, and fires a duo of crystals in the direction of that village in a railgun-like fashion.
(19) They strike the mayor in the ledger! But he is too heavy a sleeper to notice the thudding of thick books and the loud crashing of crystals slicing though wooden planking.

The Cryswarm got a really, really lucky first shot off, and hit the nearby village that the farmer knew of, landing in the mayor's ledger.

Also, 50 posts/page really really helps if you're trying to read WIZARD. (or most other large things here, except the Happy thread.)
