Heat and Community Service
« on: August 22, 2011, 09:45:48 am »

About how many days does it take to clear all the heat from one murder? My leader has 103 kills under his belt, and the military is resorting to airstrikes at this point...

I'd rather not have my Liberal generator broken.

Community service is somewhat random - cleaning the heat from a single murder will take a week, give or take a few days. Yep, it'll take a while.

So it'll take about 2 years (One more kill and it's exact). And THAT'S just the military and latte stand bystander slaughtering sprees! This isn't even counting the super-massive amounts of unlawful entry, hundreds of lethal assaults, and hundreds of other crimes.

Funny thing is though, I've stolen significantly over 300 items (WAY more than the juice capacity of 200). I don't have a single charge of theft against me.

Actually, instead of an actual week, the average time it takes to clear a single murder is six days - it fluctuates enough to make "about a week" sound good enough. For long periods though, you'll emerge significantly faster, saving a many, many days.

About the other crimes - only big crimes generate heat. Unlawful entries and such are heat-free. As an exception, the relatively minor computer crimes also generate heat because they'd be risk-free otherwise.

Ok, so a couple hundred cases of assault, and 103 murders.

What would be the approximate time?

6*103=618 days
For the murders, anyways.

It would be much faster to just surrender to the police and get off in a trial.  That will clear your heat immediately through the magical revolving door of liberal criminal justice forgiveness.

Or I could get convicted and escape. That'd get me off fairly quick.

That's not a good option, considering many liberals are tards and will go on a hunger strike. "Hostages" tend to catch bullets.

Would 12 hours in jail count as a hunger strike?

Eh, I can scare off most soldiers by just screaming "DERP!" at them. It's all good.

Yup, best way to get out clean. Doesn't matter if you are accused of murder, arson and jaywalking, so long as you have 5000 bucks and a sleeper judge you are assured to be free. Imagine if worked just as easy in real life...

The hunger strike/beaten scenario isn't terribly common, except when your squad is full when it seems to always happen.

Yeah, it's mostly used as a in-world mechanism to allow you to rescue Liberals beyond your squad capacity by hauling them.

Not exactly. Neither the sleeper judge nor the Ace Attorney is foolproof, even if combined...
