MineCraft and Dwarf Fortress are completely different.
One's a sandbox building game.
The other's a sandbox civilization-plus-building simulation game with 3 tons of insanity thrown in.
I've played both, I've enjoyed both, I'm a member of both's communities, and I say to you one thing:
They cannot be compared, without a heavily biased, fallacious comparison.

Don't compare games where one game has a large fanbase of reasonably intelligent people and the other game has a fanbase where many people's intelligence is questionable¹.

¹Naturally, someone will take offense at even something like this. Oh well.

Semantics, really. It's obvious he's stroking himself on this subject, like many other people on this forum. And I can't find the word 'much' in their sentences, do you mean 'many'?

I'm glad to get new points of views on this but... I don't really plan on keeping this debate up for long. I just don't know how I should wrap it up.
