It would be nice if there was an option in world generation to select an alternate OBJECTS folder to base the new world on. This would make it simpler to generate worlds using different mods, and to generate vanilla DF worlds after having generated modded worlds, without having to overwrite raw/objects each time we want to create a world based on different mod than the previous one.

Just rename the raw folder to rawNoMod / rawModName and rename the mod you want to use to raw.
Also, you can do it by changing only the objects folder's name.
Of course it would help, I just don't see the point when it's already easy. (Personally, I have 3 copies of DF for 3 different mods.)

i'm wondering here,20 years from now,Dwarf Fortress will create random items,civs,plats ant heir uses,body parts and organs,languages,creatures and their habitats?

You'll still need raws probably. What if you spawned as a 200-eyed eakjtl in the middle of aijlea and you need klajetkl to eakjlaer which akjrle your hwail. And iawjil will aijlje you.
