I can think of two (related) ways that the functionality of the Site Finder could be improved

1.) If we could prioritize site traits to be searched for (so that if, for example, there were no total matches for High Temperture AND No Aquifer, but some locations with one or the other, we could choose whether the finder returned the partial matches that just had High Temperatures, or the partial matches that just have No Aquifer (this is, of course, a simplified example, it makes a lot more sense if you have more than two parameters))

2.) Alternately, the same kind of improvement could be achieved if we could search for different parameters within the results of an initial search. This would have the same upshot as suggestion one, as you could run the highest priority portion of the search first.

(BTW, yes I am aware that similar things to the prioritization portion of my suggestion have been suggested in the past, but I don't recall searching within results being suggested (and a search for "Search within results" turned up nothing relevant))

Also, I have one more search suggestion on a slightly different topic than the first two:

3.) It would be nice if for variables such as temperature, savagery, rainfall, good vs. evil, etc. if we had the option to search for "medium or higher" or "medium or lower" rather having to specify low, medium, or high

the search finder should store the search data, like a temporary file, so when you wanna search for something again on a large world it doesn't takes ages!
