Strangle > Cut throat until I destroy at last 2 major arteries, it usually does the job.

Going straight for the alpha/pack/group leader, lopping off their head, and then using that as my new weapon to kill his minions/cohorts. Provided enough advance time, I could also chop off more parts and use those as well.

Nothing like being beaten down by your own leader, from your attacker.

Strangling creatures with rocks also seems to be surprisingly effective.

My current favorite tactic is to play a high-agility adventurer with a sword or knife, and keep backing up while attacking to force the enemy to use their turn/time to move closer. If you are faster than them, you can attack and retreat before they have a chance to act.

If you're fast enough, you can make them pass out before they even land a blow. I did that to an entire town.

I get the guy in a headlock then I eather deliver a punch to the head with my other arm. Or I stab/bash there face in with my weapon.

stealing there socks and then beating them to death with them. the colossi have the right idea! socks kick ass when used right!

I try to kill with great efficiency (strike limbs until the head's open for attack) until I'm down to the last guy, usually the leader. Then I grab him by the throat, tear off his clothes, and hold him against a tree, which I set on fire. He burns as I hammer out his teeth, and later beat his bones into powder. If possible, I'll do all this with the corpse of one of his companions.

1- Strike minor body parts until enemy passes out from pain.
2- Slit throat.
3- Do the happy sacrificial dance until helpless enemy dies from blood loss. Down, down, right, up, up, up, left, right, right, right, right, right, right. See if you can complete it before it dies. If you managed to complete it, you just drew a penis with your dancing while you waited for your victim to bleed out in agonising pain. Congratulations, you are a murderous, insane, beautiful snowflake.
4- Lick blood coating on the blade.

It takes awhile, but it's worth it.

Disembowel them, sever their guts, then watch them run around with no intestines until they die. I sometimes collect the guts as trophies.
