I just generated a world in which the only dwarven civilization was ruled by the Elven Queen Obok Idashrigòth (aka "Pillar Moistnessscraft"), who led the Tower of Realms in an attack on The Tails of Slapping at Tuliplessons.

Sea surrounding it was named Gulf of Gulfs. Really original.
There was jungle named The Scholarly Jungle. Next to it were mountains named Point of Lessons.

i found an artifact rope reed fiber sword

obviously legendary items ARE NOT logical lol.

i used that sword for the rest of my time as that adventurer.
i would describe it as akin to slapping somebody with a heavily starched sock.

Should have thrown it at fluffy wamblers.... wait a second what if somebody threw a bronze colossus statue at a fluffy wambler and it only recieved minor bruising or something, that would be awesome

#1 yea wambler thing would be funny as hell.
#2 you would be absolutely amazed but with max strength you can cleave a bronze colossi in half with that sword. because artifacts gain massive bonus it counted as like a steel 2H or something lol

Artifacts are the shit. I prefer the idea of the artifact being so legendary and powerful its made of like cloth or wood but can still cut through a solid rock Forgotten Beast or something.

Anyway...in my current fort, Coaltrampled (ironically there's no coal, only lignite), one of my squads is called Granite Wasps. Reminds me of Marble Hornets... another one is named the Speechless Guilds. They were probably speechless because they expected to spend the rest of their lives being useless freeloaders in my fort, but I drafted them. If you haven't got any useful skills, you get drafted! That's the rule!

I've also got a farmer named Stukos Keskalfath. That means Shotsack. Ow!

Artifacts: "Anriz Ishlum", The Sky of Nuts, a dolomite mug. Wut?

I generated a world and then was investigating the legend stuff and I found one of the dwarf civs/groups(eeh, cant remember) was called 'The Moist Merchants' I laughed and showed my brother we both lolol'd at it... so anyway, I started a fortress happily playing for a year or two, then I look at one of my dwarves more closely and read "He is a member of the Moist Merchants".............. 


oh the shame.

I don't think the fortress lasted too long....


Edit: Oh an in my current fortress I have a squad that called themselves "the oily streams" ......ew

appropriately enough, my marksdwarves called themselves "the creative dots" makes me think of laser sights or something
