B12 Diablo 2 group

Well, since Diablo 3 doesn't look that promising to me I figured maybe a group of seven other likeminded souls would like to join me in playing through Diablo 2 (and expansion) with me over a hamachi server. No Battlenet dupefests or "runs". Just us, whatever we find, and each other.

Any takers?

What's a hamachi server?

I'm willing to give it a run. I'm somewhat time-limited though, so I dont know how regularly will I be avaiable

Make sure you have the expansion too.

You'll need to download Hamachi to play.

Essentially what I will be doing is using it to a "Lan game" on my Pc, but you can all connect to the game via hamachi

Uhm, I use linux, and for what I'm seeing getting Hamachi to run there is painful (or rather, takes a significant effort). Is there any way to directly connect there without using extra programs?

I'll join though I will have to note, I am not the greatest player and this is my first time using hamachi so is verson 1.0.1.5 right?
