ok... working on the material before making fireproof dwarves... testing this with equipment made with a adamantine clone that is practically unmeltable.

Since we're on the topic of ammunition...

Does a bolt with a really high fixed temp [raw-edited] set things on fire that it hits?


*imagines flaming slade crossbow bolts...* then
embarking with a crew of marksmen in a 7x7 area of terrifying area...

epic.

I tried modding this before, and YES they do.... *IF* they get stuck in. Since you can't mod stuck in chances and bolts are so deadly and fired so fast creatures tended to die long before being lit on fire.

This was all done on a previous version (.40d IIRC) but it should hold true to the current one.

I've cloned adamantine and set that material's fixed temp to 20,000, but it doesn't light things on fire, even if it gets stuck in.
