No pawn shop in LCS?

I downloaded LCS and I can't seem to find the pawn shop on the map-site-selecty-thingy. This is annoying because that means that I can't sell any of the goodies I find in conservative cesspools. Anyone else have this problem or is this just part of an update that I didn't know of?

Are you using the latest build (4.04) or did you compile the development version? Also, does the game warn you about missing files during startup?

You're missing all the XMLs and the game isn't warning you about it? You're not, perchance, playing a version downloaded from here?

Yeah, "official", in a way. That's the last LCS version made by Toady One himself - since then, he's been busy with DF, the source has been released, Jonathan S Fox and a few others have been working on it and... well, 4.04 or development version is pretty much what everyone is playing now. You're not the first one to accidentally download the older version though...

Or the second, or the third, or the fiftieth, or the last. It's pretty common. ;)

For the record, in the version you downloaded, the pawn shop is on page two of the Industrial District, and you may not be able to reach page two without altering the config.txt file from page keys to brackets, since the page keys don't work for many people.
