March 21st, 2029 - Operation: Warhammer.
The start of world war three, with the first major assault being upon the North american west coast. Special operations are in effect in South america and limited wafare in indonesia.

The end of Operation Warhammer ended with the full annexation of the americas and several indonesian islands under Australian control.

August 17th, 2029 - Operation: Stormsea.
The first offensive of the European union. This leads to the naval campaign in the atlantic which savages both navies, with over half the australian battlefleet sunk. Two weeks later Australian ground troops invaded Spain, Portugal, France, Ireland and South Africa.

Stormsea concluded with most of western europe occupied by Australian forces, and the beginning of Australian operations in Africa.

October 28th, 2031 - The Ivory Towers.
The Ivory towers period is one of a cold war, with most military engagements happening in africa while all sides consolidate and prepare.

The end of the period was heralded by several space programs racing to build onto the moon, starting the war right back up again.

July 6th, 2038 - Operation: Deathstalker.
Deathstalker started with the Lunar war, and quickly spread back to earth. Australian forces once again march, now fuelled by resources once untouched in South america and Africa, While the Chinese have gained access to those in the middle east.

Deathstalker ended with the conquest of Russia, Eastern europe, Scandinavia, The Middle east and Japan.

April 25th, 2040 - Operation: Dragonslayer.
Dragonslayer was the Apex and final moments of WWIII, with an all out assault on all Indo-China Union borders, While the ICU is bolstered by Veterans of the americas, europe and Middle east.

Setting Synopsis
The world is on the brink of a new golden age or WW3 (Or those may be inextricably linked). The players are civilians in a country that will be marked by war sooner or later, possibly having a multinational group of veterans may be possible, depending on the country and time they start at.

The game's setting would be pretty dark, dealing with quite a few things of humanities underbelly.

Main system
Okay there'll be several stats and skills that can govern what roles a player would have. There are also traits, which provide a bonus but cannot be upgraded.

The die would be a d10, like that in OOTK, skills would be different however.

All but one player would start with an extra 5 points for stats and 15 for skills. The other player will get a PM with their bonuses.

Damage, HP and Equipment
HP would be simple, being an integer value. Base HP is at 4HP per CON Point

Damage would have several types:

Piercing: Works well against soft substances, not so much anything hard and thick ( :P )
Blunt: Works well on thin, solid objects, as everything else absorbs the force from it. Can knock back or even topple tall objects (Like humans). More force and larger object that hits the target = More damage. Though this'll be based more on common sense.
Fire: Burny. Higher temperature deals more damage, starting at one for 100 Degrees Celsius.
Electrical: Give 'em some extra negativity. If I could calculate Voltage and ampage, I would base extra damage on that.
Edged (Aka slashing, just renamed to also cover HP ammo).
Explosive: BOOM! Good against anything not designed to defeat explosives.
Cold: Freeze 'em into Icicles, more damage per -5 degrees Celsius.
Many items will have modifiers, like High velosity, in their descriptions, these are important to remember, as they'll come into play often.

Infantry & Ground vehicle Combat
Infantry combat is divided into two parts: Melee and Ranged. And for the most part, melee is not as effective (Due to most weapons being not designed for such.) Ranged combat consist of an accuracy roll and a dodge roll. A cover roll will be applied most of the time when applicable. Called shots are at a -1 penalty and require either a decent shooting skill, a trait or high perception. Armour will be widespread across most military forces, though most are intended to stop conventional bullets.

Vehicles available in most places, though getting one without getting harrassed by cops is a different thing (Unless it's a warzone, though that has it's own risks) and use the same armour/damage system.
 Most armed vehicles require a crew, and do require training/practice to use. For the most part though, the only difference is larger sizes of both weapons and targets. This catagory also includes horseback combat too, due to the fact they're still a "Vehicle". All vehicles have a fuel requirement for operation though. Vehicles are immune to most weapons.

Naval and Aerial Combat
Ship and aircraft won't be seen often, though when they do they'll make their presense felt hard. Aircraft are, while active and in the air, are immune to all non-HV weapons, and dodges regular HV weapons more easily, although they don't possess the same toughness as their grounded cousins.
Naval ships are the most terrifying thing for an infantryman to face, as they'll always be out of range for most firearms and AT weapons. Combined with their much larger weapons are truly the realms of the powerful, though they always are vulnerable to boarding if the crew is not vigilant.
