Has anyone else been having trouble getting on to the site for the past couple of days? Sometimes I can connect just fine, but others it won't load at all...

Site loads fine for me...

Geez, I haven't played this in quite some time. Ever since I got stuck in that stupid boat because of wounds, and couldn't get out because it was taking me way longer clicking on things then I felt like giving time to the game. I got bored because removing the wounds without the required items sucks! Maybe I'll try to get back into it...

They've got a new game, Black Crown: http://www.blackcrownproject.com/s

Similar style, very dark, even more surreal. I'm enjoying it so far.

Yeah, Black Crown is, uhh... certainly distinctive. Body horror (and psychological) galore. Recommend atleast seeing through the prologue.

Are any of the B12 lot still playing this? I saw this mentioned in the Sunless Sea thread, and, um, have gotten rather entirely sucked in. Anyway, I wanted to try out the social aspects, and would prefer to look closer to home than the Failbetter forums to build a clique...

I've been playing for a few days. I've been focusing on observation and persuasion.

I'm not sure if I want to open this, given my last experience of AAAGH SPIDER EATING MY FACE.
Ah hell, who am I kidding. I want to know what's inside.

EDIT:
Quote
A velvety black cat struggles free of the wrappings. It blinks at you. 'About time. Well, we move as the game wills. Here -' It whispers something to you, and the room spins about you. When you steady yourself, it's quite gone.

Whoa, it was an actual cat. How unexpected.
