Ah, well for the sake of science, if someone sends me one I'll send one back to see what it does. Only have enough for one though, so post in the thread if you do.

Well, I sent you one. You could send one back. :P

If the gift from THAT is worth it, I'll send you another one so you can use your own.

I was fortunate when I opened the gift, and got a stone ring - it's usable, and from the description says it reduces nightmares and increases the Dangerous stat.

Each knot-name just gives you another chance at opening the box (you don't lose your stuff if it fails).

Considering it took me three knot names and attempting to rip it open, for /nothing/, and the one reward we've heard about being mediocre, I think we can safely mark Christmas as

TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT

Although, I did give Mr Sacks some wine in my lodgings, which actually works for getting some Connected: The Masters!

So what did everyone give Mr Sacks?

I gave him some wine and got connected: the master.

I'm interested in whether or not anyone decided to jump into his sack...

I gave him wine as well since getting connected: the masters seems to be a pain in the butt.

I gave Mr Sacks some relics of the 2nd/3rd/4th city - can't remember what I got in return (nightmare reduction maybe?), but now I wish I'd handed over the wine..
I did manage to steal his sack and get
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Glyphgryph - I do have that 5th fate point now, would you like a gift?

Don't bother sending me the gift, I used up all my knots and it's really not worth the fate.

I've been needing those 77 First City coins for awhile now, who here has high enough persuasive/shadowy for a museum robbery?

Well, I did two or three of them a while back. It's a very straightforward procedure, you see. You just need to keep an eye out for the watchman is all. The security on that Museum is rather lacking these days.

(It normally takes 3 runs to get all the coins (30 per run). If you don't mind waiting for 4 runs I can get it done for you pretty quickly. I'd like to try the 'hang the coins!' option at the end, which means you don't get the coins. I can usually knock out at least one full run each day.)
