I can mentor in Shadowy btw, if anyone is going that route. The price I ask won't be too steep. Just your firstborn, or something.

Oh hey, there's a Fallen London thread.

What are the perks of having a Patron?

You have a couple social interactions you can do. The big part is being a patron increases the stat they're specialized in for you while you're under their tutelage. So having a Patron who is an Invisible Eminence makes your Shadowy increase faster.

I was gifted Sunless Sea recently, which inevitably lead me to Fallen London. I find the setting intensely appealing, and the writing for each storylet is short and sweet, dark and humorous. I imagine the game will have its hooks in me for quite a while, so if anyone here is (semi-) actively playing, check out my profile and, if you want, send me your card. Fallen London is even more interesting with friends.

I just recently started playing this- maybe two weeks ago- as a persuasive/watchful person. My username is Cheeetar.

You can invite me over for coffee if you want. I'm Objective.

I'd send an invitation but I'm in the Empress' court right now.

Sure thing. Haven't dabbled in the multiplayer aspect of the game yet, but it's pretty intriguing.

To those of y'all who just started, take your time. Don't be in a rush to reach the "endgame" stuff - the early bits are plenty interesting and the deeper into the game you go, the grindier it gets. You Have Been Warned...

Yeah, there's even bottled oblivion to hurt your stats when you want to play early-game stuffs.

Yeah, as a now veteran Londoner, I'm trying really hard not to say anything. Enjoying the ride is very sound advice.

Yeah, I think it's because the energy of the writing team is directed mostly to early game content and Fate-locked stories.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Posting to watch, I'm thinking of shifting from Sea to London as well.
Nice popularity boom, anyway.
