So, I am planning to arrange a robbery from the museum of mistakes for my ambition. This requires a friend with shadowy or persuasive at least at 70 (and most probably significantly higher if you want anything other then near impossible starting off). So, is anyone willing to commit the robbery for me and have a high enough score in one of those two areas?

I have around 90 shadowy (with equips) and almost 100 in persuasive (with equips) and I would be more than happy to give you a hand with your robbery.

Phew, I've fallen so far behind!

What you mean is, "I have way more content left to enjoy than you guys do!" My highest stat is still only 41 and I'm perfectly happy with that. Maybe if I move slowly enough, they'll update the game as quickly as I go through the content.

Quote
W--- with the m---- and your d----!
You spit foul recriminations and vicious calumny. Ladies faint dead away and gentlemen stagger under the barrage. Your target runs, weeping, with her hands over her ears. You follow her! Your tirade continues in the street, where hansoms careen hastily off and urchins fall from rooftops. You pick up your victim's dropped letters and wave them as a final salute. You are spent.
Dear me, that is fantastic.

As long as you complete it before I find a way to get the other ~60 coins I am going to need (aka weeks), then no rush.
Also, thank you for the robbery dear sir or madam or person of indeterminate gender.

Hm. Well, there you go. Only got 30 from the robbery though. If you need any more just let me know and I'll run another robbery. It's all straightforward for me, so relatively quick to get up to the level 6 that makes the robbery low risk.

Edit: I'm just trying to grind up the 80,000  :o whispered secrets needed to purchase a room at the bazaar. Found an action that's straightforward that gives me 83 per action so hopefully it won't take too long, but holy crap is it boring. Anything to break up the monotony is welcome.

Right, I need sapphires. But don't just tell me how to get them, give me cryptic hints..
edit: I just found my first sapphires, it was devilishly easy, really.

The other thing is fate. I've been trying one of the surveys each day, but I've only ever had one or two actually pay out, it's rather frustrating. Some seem utterly nefarious, such as GratisPoints - I've signed up, filled out several bits of my profile and got onto several different surveys, only for them to boot me out unceremoniously halfway through - it seems you must spend a minimum amount of time on each question, or they assume you're giving made up answers. I mean obviously I am giving them made up answers (I wouldn't qualify for any of their surveys in the first place without getting a little creative), but thats not the point.
 Any specific recommendations?

Do the ones in the "Survey" tab, those are the only ones that really work. The ones in the "Free" tab are typically not worth the effort, and have about a 30% success rate if using valid information, cookies on, and everything.

I was just rebuffed by those surveys as well. I broke down and ended up installing the Babylon dictionary for 4 fate. If anything horrible happens to my machine as a result, I'll keep you guys informed. The absolute worst stuff on there seem to be the ones offering suspiciously high amounts of fate. Under the "mobile" offers, theres a blatant scam site that tries to trick you into signing up for a 4.50 a week subscription service.
A talented artisan has offered to make me a fancy walking stick, but I need 5 sapphires and 5 venom-rubies for it.
I've now got all the gems I needed for this, but unfortunately I mislaid the card when I visited the shroom races.. I hope it turns up again.
