Ladies, Gentlemen, Mysterious, and *coughs from dust* Tomb-Colonists, it's election season!
To be honest I took a break from this game, playing 1-2 times a week if that. But I enjoyed the Exceptional Story about the ratcatcher, and now... yeah, event time, wooooo
The candidates actually did get me excited though, which is a good sign I guess: Mr Slowcakes, The Jovial Contrarian, and The Captivating Princess.
"But Rolan7 you mysterious and indistinct individual," you ask, "Didn't the Jovial Contrarian already run?"
He did, on a campaign of "Freedom and Liberation". Now he's trying the "opposite".
"Mr Slowcakes? Isn't he just a fake identity the Devils of London created?" That's sure what I thought, me. And he's still not appearing. HMMM
"There's a Princess?" Yeah, it's some exceptional story thing. I heard she loves red honey. And might be a werewolf or something IDK
This very professional summary was slightly rushed, I'm sure you'll be surprised to hear. I've only had time to skim the candidates' descriptions. I'm expecting to go with the Contrarian - dealing with devils is angsty evil fun, particularly as a soulless, but maybe there are limits?
Then again, maybe the Contrarian makes a better commentator than a leader. His populism and unpredictability have a certain uncomfortable familiarity. Also he may or may not support the liberation of night, half the time, being a revolutionary.
Heck, maybe the monarch who eats memories for kicks is the least worst of horrific options.
Edit: Oh wow I forgot she married Feducci, right? Wow maybe we ARE better off with the devils...
