got exiled to the Tomb Colonies. not really the way i wanted to visit them. spent my favours with the church in order to take down my scandal. i just wanted to paint some stuff for the royal family.

i also got into the fighting pits (lvling dangerous so i can open route to the Labyrinth)

been also getting some echoes by entertaining the Topsy King. not enough to buy some of the higher end clothing tho.

and completed one of the jobs given by the Implacable Detective (aunts are problematic)

I guess I always prioritized reducing those qualities once they hit 6, mostly by hitting the church option at my home and gambling that scandal would go down. Also how I managed nightmares, by drinking heavily at Ms Plenties, then praying off the scandal.

So when it came to time to see the other places I had to go out of my way to build up those qualities. I seem to remember getting Suspicion up at the higher levels being in the pain in the ass. I was too shadowy, g'_____t!

If you want to dump some scandal off on me, feel free to send some invitations. I'm My Name is Immaterial; I should have sent you a calling card.

I can't take on more scandal...  But if anyone has nightmares to confide, hit me up at Rolan7.  I'm visiting the nadir weekly (at least for 2-3 more weeks) which, among much greater things, is an amazing way to reduce nightmares.

I'm also more than happy to attend to wounds of bay12ers.  You'll have to send me a PM for that.

As for suspicion...  I don't have problems with suspicion.  Neither do my crew.  You can hit me up to clear zome heat, but it'll cost zah.  A pasta dinner at Dante's grill, zee?  My treat.  Zend me a message.

:P  Rolan7.

Edit:  Please do confide your nightmares, aheh, they're by far the best part of the game for me.  I spent most of last week at nightmares 6 just enjoying the... flavor text.  Cards with no benefit whatsoever, just pain.
I'll never seek Mr Eaten, these dalliances suffice.

I dealt with nightmares by keeping plenty of Memories of Light in the back of my mind and just taking sojourns to the Mirror-Marches when it became necessary. Honestly, it never seemed like an issue.

Wait, you mean...  Doesn't that ruin your dreams?  I haven't dared to do that since my first couple weeks.  IIRC it's not *all* your dreams, but I'd hate to lose much What the Thunder Said or A Game of Chess.  They grow so slowly.  The Fire Sermon, too.
Death By Water, good riddance.
I still regret feeding some dreams to a snake in a recent exceptional story.  A single bottle of tears!?  I was wrong to take mercy on it.

Anyway, my original purpose was to share that Irrigo can apparently be used in chess matches.  And apparently it trumps zombies, those who have died and listened to the boatkeeper.

Irrigo is a hell of a drug <3

I popped into the Mirror Marches to check it out, and it only decreased Someone Is Coming when I left, IIRC.

The Mirror Marches are fine for dreamers. Unless, yes, you really covet "Is Someone There?"... Indeed, dreams open up a few extra beneficial storylets while you wander the Marches.

I recently started playing, and I'm up for anything really. I have a grand total of 2 scandal and 1 suspicion,  so I'm not too worried about taking on a little more... Also, any cooperative tasks for shadowy or persuasive would be of interest to me.

I finally reached 15 Notability.  It's a slog, oh wow.  Most points are once per week at best, with the final point being...  Rough.  56 Making Waves is a pain, particularly if you're trying to do, IDK, anything else?  Especially in game, but you better be using most of those actions.

Kinda well balanced, that way, to be honest.

The entry is... honestly super disappointing, it's written like there are more tiers.  Not like a capstone at all.
I would be somewhat upset if I wasn't aware of London's Marrow.

... Though fuck going after the others, haha, I'm going to explore the stories and have fun.
My plant recently grew some very special fruit.  PM me for a bite, I have plenty.
I'm going to enjoy actually playing this again.

I'm going to enjoy actually playing this again.
I envy you, I'm starting to burn out a bit: my main has hit a lot of the main content barriers, and my Seeking alt is struggling to grind for SMEN.
I am, however, pursuing an... enigmatic puzzle, which is why I've got a book on my coffee table IRL of critical discussion on TS Elliot's The Waste Land. If you know what I'm talking about, please PM me I'm so lost.

I got an odd standard-frequency card which invited me to more Cheery Man/Last Constable content.  At first I thought it was unlocked from me finally... finishing the Jack Of Smiles case, but apparently it's a nice content update.  Also, those exiled from the Empress's Court now have a way back!

Also Light Fingers updated a while ago.  Might even be finished.
