So, I'm guessing we should just stay neutral.
There are two big sides to the global conflict right now. They are the United States Of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Guess which one we are already aligned to?
THE UNION OF SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLICS! :P

I say The United Nationalist Front. Since it won't take long until THEY'RE the second most common.

Is that seriously going to be a replacement alliance, or are you speaking figuratively?

Figuratively. There's no such thing. Sadly, the game isn't advanced enough. :(

Also, little note: the soviets might steal some of our allies once they change into capitalists. :P Just thought it would be relevant to this conversation.

Fortunately, they'll all still be friends to us.

Presumably we could just be friends with them once they're capitalists.

I thought that someone said it wasn't possible to ally with the Soviets?  If they change to capitalism ( like they did in WW3 last scenario ) will the U.S. have an easier time befriending them?

Yes. It will be easier. Their relation will change from Enmity to Indifferent. Not sure if it happens immediately, though.

The only way there will ever be true peace in this game is if the U.S. and the Soviets unite.  That sounds awesome.

Actually, you'd have to get China too. They're a lot harder to knock down to capitalism. They don't go capitalist automatically. And they're a pretty big threat.

We must do everything in the name of peace!  China will turn capitalist, or else.

It took me a while to figure this out, but I've finally determined that by "Centralist", the game means "Generic Ideology-less Dictatorships". However, this makes me more confused, as Iran is listed as Socialist instead of Centralist Islam. That seems.....odd to me. Unless there's some other ideology in Other besides Socialist right now.

Nope, not in this scenario.

And stay neutral. Trust Pakistan... it always wins that war in my games.
