Haven't you already had your two terms? I guess the constitution doesn't apply in a nuclear wasteland, but elections do. What priorities. Anyway, it should be all right, just don't do too many bad things, and hop it rises in the 1000+ day until the election.

I think what could have happened, is that George H.W. Bush got bumped off in 1990, and you then took over halfway through his term, which means you can have two more terms. That's 10 years of reign for you, assuming that you last that long. Of course, if you are Bush, this should be your last term, and elections are now meaningless to you.
