I saved the game and tested to see if an invasion would work. Nobody's willing to keep our troops, so an invasion is out of the question.

You cannot attack if you do not have a nearby country that is willing to let you keep your troops in their country.



Anyway, attacking is just stupid. You'll piss off the soviets directly. Don't do it, for all of humanity, don't do it.

Oh my gawd...

I suggest getting into the War Room afterwards, since I remember reading it gives 50% chance to not be assassinated while you're in it. I have a feeling the Soviets will be pissed.
