Alpha, always. Hell, I was intending to be a Broken Paladin type on Dwarmin's, might as well go a wee bit darker on this one.
Just for clarification, does Alpha mean A? Because you kinda sound like you prefer D based on what you're saying. Alpha, to me and with your sentence at the end, could be taken as "Alpha Male" or "Hardest" or something like that.

Option A, whatever you decide. Sorry, that last line was talking about my character. Kinda Fried.  :-[

(Hey, you said you abhorred non-spec actions)
You're trying to troll me (in a friendly way), aren't you? >_>

A little, I finally finished emergency helping a friend before he lost his fullride, so it's more the forced humor of I-need-to-unwind-before-I-hit-the-next-sob-story-in-the-face-with-a-goddamn-pipewrench humor. I'm sorry if it was offensive.

It's not offensive to me at all, honestly. It just makes me squint my eyes and think "honestly?". :P

Put the ring on, maybe eat the silver for werewolf resistance if the ring doesn't do anything interesting.
[Air magic... again, Air creature transformation... again][5, blessed]: You don the ring, and feel... like you're less... thick. Then you notice that you're floating, transparent, and your body parts can go into each-other. It feels very weird and uncomfortable. All while this is happening, you feel as though you're being watched by someone... 'above' you.

Pounce down on the human from the sky! Knock him/her off its feet. If I can, then say: "Why HELLO THERE, poor human! What brings you so far from your home land?" Say this as frighteningly as possible while showing my dragon teeth.
[Agi:2][Human Agi:6]: You try to knock the human off [coin flip] his feet. You miss, and make a somewhat rough landing, but at least you're fine. As you turn around to speak to the human, you notice his face is [Human Intimidation Resist:1] utterly terrified. You then ask him why he's so far away from his home.

"Why HELLO THERE, poor human! What brings you so far from your home land?" You say, showing your teeth off.

"I'm... I'm not far away from my home it-t's a village called Woner, just over the next two hills over th-there." He says, hiding his fear. He points in a direction.

"Please, leave me alone. I haven't done anything to deserve being eaten. If you have a bone to pick, at least choose someone who deserves it." He says afterwards. Your benevolent attitude and intelligence agrees with him: He's done nothing to you and he has the voice of innocence, you have no reason to eat him, scare him, or otherwise mess with him.

You have the ultimate say, though. You are an intelligent being, after all.

Open the bag and ask mother to read what's inside for me, since I don't know how. Or, try to read it myself before asking Mother.
You open the bag for your mother to read, even after she said she can't read it. [2] She shakes her head left and right. "I can't see that size of text anymore. It's smaller than normal texts, and it's written for humans.

Anthramarux tried to change the subject before she could get caught in a technical lie.

"Well, Mother...I surely didn't touch or take anything...especially not any of the bracelets...*shifty eyes, shuffling feet*

But! I did toss a little rat at one of the strange color orbs I found. I was curious! But, I was careful, like you taught me to be.

He puffed up and exploded-like, bang! It was like he was growing out of his skin. I guess that stuff is dangerous, right? But it's also powerful...like you. I want to be powerful like you, Mother.

Maybe you could teach me how to use the powers soon...?"

Anthramarux licked her chops, blinked slowly and displayed a lean, hungry look. Power...she was beginning to want it. Bad. Who else deserved it but her?
"Well, Mother...I surely didn't touch or take anything...especially not any of the bracelets..." You mumble. You then try to change the subject, but that won't work on someone who directly asks you a serious question. ((Alright, I'm going to do some super-complex lie roll thingspoiler to see if you succeed. Because, well, I don't know why I just want to mess around.))

Spoiler: Lie FAILED (click to show/hide)

Before you can interrupt mother she stops you. "Dear, are you trying to lie to me?"

Oh crap. Perhaps making direct lies was a bad idea? Maybe making partial lies would've been a better idea

Well, you've now greatly increased her suspicion levels. Lying again will be EVEN MORE difficult.

((Once again, canceled action because it would make no sense for you to continue talking about unrelated things after this. Also, I believe I should've split the conversation into a separate turn. Apologies, from now on it will be separate as long as you're just talking.))

Study the engravings on the throne
One small one says "Made in Nethack". Another, larger says "He who sits upon the throne may be granted thy wish... so long as it's reasonable."

Hmmm.

((Yes I am breaking the 4th wall. So what? it wasn't a very good wall anyway.))

"I'll bring you the metal, but don't expect more."

Kin ran for the mountain before his father could put him down. "Time for another hunt."
You run for the mountains. and start looking for the metal. [Type:6][Mood:2] You encounter a much older and much larger dragon... He notices you. He is smaller than your parents. He must be a teenager, just having gotten old enough to leave the nest. He still has the eyes of a child in him.

"Hey, you, please stay away from my cave. I don't like uninvited visitors. In fact, how about you leave here as soon as possible? ...Please?" He says. Not in a threatening voice, but in a annoyed voice. He seems reasonable.

You then think for a second... does he know that your parents live in a mountain a very short distance from here? Maybe you should tell him? Maybe not? He could be hurt or killed by your father.

[1]: You notice the complete and utter lack of minerals in the immediate area. There seems to be a lot of dirt around, but no metal or rocks at all.

Throw the body out of the cave. Bury the sword, thank deities for their assistance and attempt to pry out this arrow. Keep a lot of cloth at hand for possible bleeding.
You throw your "sister's" body out of the cave, and bury the mighty sword. You thank the gods for their assistance. You, much to your surprise hear "Your welc-eerr, crap, I didn't mean to speak... I'm not talking to you. Nope. Just ignore me mortal. I am definitely not talking to you. I... Damn it all." from above you, far far above you.

You then attempt to pry the arrow out. It's harder than normal, considering you're doing it yourself. [Tou:6-1][Str:6-1]: You almost feel as though your hands are controlled by a god of medicine as the arrow comes right out with basically no pain! And SOMEHOW, there is NO bleeding!

You have a feeling the gods are kind of acting like parents to you. But you can't be sure yet. Though you cannot deny that something interesting is happening.

Eat my eggshell to absorb the organometallic calcite based composite that Dragon eggs are apparently made of.
[Str:4+2]: Your small teeth eat through the egg like butter. It is kinda painful swallowing. You gain very little in nutrients.

You hear screaming of fear from a scared animal in a nearby room. Not of the dragon type, that's for sure.

Cevitil walks around carefully, looking for a clean room. He makes sure to CAREFULLY LOOK at the room before walking into it, just in case of RANDOM DANGERS
You look for a clean room. [2] There's a dirty room filled with dirt. Next. [4] There's a moderately clean room. Alright, anything better? [1] Well there's a room where there's so much bacteria that you can actually see it. Obviously that one is the best.

[2]: Mother has little luck in finding bandages.

[Tou:6] You would think every wound would require some medical equipment. Well, not your burn wounds. They FULLY CLOSE and are no longer at ANY risk of infection.

And it wasn't even intentional, was it?

+5 Toughness.

Quote from: IronyOwl
Be born.
[Location of birth: 9, Kingdom of Iberia.]

[4]: This egg has been your home for who knows how long. And you never want to leave.

Well, you're going to have to, because you're out of goddamn food and someone is tapping annoyingly on the egg! Bah!

Anyway, you push hard and crack through the egg, right out into a dark, dark room. A figure stands over you, making it even more dark where you're standing. It doesn't help that you have black scales, either. You are basically as dark as a black hole right now.

"Ah child, my dreams foretold you leaving the egg on this day. And dying quickly. I'm glad you are born, my visions tell me that you will be mighty. Though I could be wrong." You bubble your mouth, confused at what she is saying.

[5]: "Father, come see your child." The figure says. "Is he finally born?" A previously unseen figure appears. "Yes, my dear." The first figure responds.

The new figure stands over you. Making you blacker than a black hole. Good god why is everything so goddamn black it's so fricking cold being in this blackness.

"Smaller than I thought he would be." The new figure says. "You overestimate a child's size, dear." The first figure responds.

"Now, to do as Inn'ahar says." The second figure says, becoming suddenly small and pulling out a square object. "Inn'ahar bleggisid, givia oure chllde ye stringtha..." The second figure says in an intimidating voice.

You suddenly feel as though something very bad is reaching for your very soul. Your instincts panic and you feel an extreme urge to run, before it's too late.

((This is the result of you giving me those types of parents. Just note, expect Fun if you stay around and don't run.))

Anthramarux knew she was beaten for today...lying took practice like everything else...

Action: In an effort to save face, she gives in...

"All right...I did try on ONE of the the bracelets. But it didn't hurt or anything...and I hid it in my nest, but I can't remember where. Honestly! I just wanted to be powerful like you are...mom!"

Then she tries to act properly upbraided.

Conversation round 1.

Nuvian:
Threaten the "poor human" and ask if the village he's from has any treasures I could plunder. If so, fly off to the village! If not, keep exploring.
"I'm a teenager, I wouldn't know anything about treasures in my village! No one tells me this stuff at this age!"

Anthramarux:
Anthramarux knew she was beaten for today...lying took practice like everything else...

Action: In an effort to save face, she gives in...

"All right...I did try on ONE of the the bracelets. But it didn't hurt or anything...and I hid it in my nest, but I can't remember where. Honestly! I just wanted to be powerful like you are...mom!"

Then she tries to act properly upbraided.

Mother looks at you angrily.

"I'm upset, dear. Do you know why? It's because you were lying to me, which... breaks my heart. But that's not the main reason I'm angry, dear. The main reason I'm angry is you didn't ask me about the bracelet before you put it on. It could have been really dangerous. You could have put on a Polymorphitis bracelet, a Teleportitis bracelet, a combustion bracelet, or any number of dangerous bracelets. Worse, they could've been cursed."

"Dear, please, right now I'm here in this world for a single reason: To protect you until you grow up. I would be devastated to find you hurt or... dead. You don't have to lie to me or hide things to me. I'm your mother, I have more experience in this world than you do, and I wouldn't be upset as I'm sure I've done a number of stupid things myself."

"As for the bracelet... well, if you say it didn't hurt, I guess you can keep it if you want..."

Anthramarux is still young enough to feel bad from the scolding. She didn't want to break her mothers heart!

"All right...sorry mom. I'll be more careful from now on.

Also, the bracelet, it didn't hurt, it just made me, not me. Into air...like, my body was made of air...It felt strange, but not totally bad, and I could take it on and off.

She thought for a moment-an amazing act of self control for one so young, but Anthramarux sometimes couldn't *stop* thinking about things.

Is changing magic like that dangerous, mother? Aside from the obvious, like if I was had the air body, and tried to take off the bracelet in a place where my real body couldn't fit, I suppose I would hurt myself badly."

"Yes. Those magics are dangerous. You can actually kill yourself with those magics. Get turned into a water creature, fit into a small crack, then pull your ring off or have it destroyed and you're instantly dead because your body is not designed to be positioned in a crack."

Anthramarux wondered...

"Other than that, is there any danger from the magic itself? What is I wore it for a very long time, for example?

Also...

How can you tell if something is cursed or dangerous beforehand?"
