Oh and Thatkid? I'm not arguing with you. You wont listen to me, And I, speaking logically and backed up by the GMs, dont need to listen to you. So save your breath.
Dude, this is plain rude. cut it out.
Like you arent Ardas, you've been ranting about a single comment he made every chance you could get. So get over it
Lots of people were given slightly odd starting points. Tari and Sheb can also attest that i've been the bearer of abnormal start conditions (F@W). We made this event to spice up the UNGODLY dull goings on in the Storm Coast.
Yes, in the event of the failure of his event, Tere was going to roll as another GM - without a character. His entire purpose here was to facilitate progress. The most progress we had before that was Ghaz.
Tari, i'd like to ammend the rulles for that str vs regiments but what happens with the winner if they have nothing <2str? They lose a heavy upgrade? Its workable i guess. Could be turned that way.
As for favoritism kid? Fuck that noise. If i still had the PMs i'd screen shot them and send you how LITTLE input i had on his entry. Him and Nuke worked it out mostly while i was at work one day. I've rolled 1 event basically for Tere, the original battle in mileth. I've intentionally let Nuke do the rest for that exact reason. What you fail to understand from the lack of involvement since his entry is the sheer amount of discouragement Nuke and I both placed to Tari on making a fight of this. He proceeded to ignore it all and do what he wanted - it turned out bad. Thems the ways the game works out, and you know it from ROLLING IT before.
*Points out that he suggested retconning to just before Laythe bodyslammed the fox.*
Oh so NOW you want to? Now that you've bothered to actually LISTEN when the GMs discourage something? I'm not against it, your timing is hilarious though you have to admit that.
Point being, i have no issues modifying the rules. What i have issues with is people crying foul and wanting ammendments without any thought into the way things will work afterward. Every rule change i made to trade i can back up with pages of test points and proof that it isn't horribly broken. You people want the -only- flavor to a dull X vs Y numbers game to be tossed out the window simply because it got abused. Its slightly broken, I admitted this before. No one else seemed to think it was a problem and neither Nuke nor I thought events would go to a battle. The numbers alone should have discouraged that and forced an arrangement or at least a stalemate until Ligorian forces could secure allies (which were, again, offer but never followed up on)
