And yes, with a +4 to my tactics rolls, I can split several troops without fail. So I'm cutting your best troops out of your army.
Its my force str 12, yours at str 9, Unless you guys manage to succeed some tactics, but thats unlikely. And even a split..at best you can take 2 str away, leaving it 10 to 9.

And you DO realize what unattended cavalry CAN do, right? Especially after just ONE round of combat...

Split forces doesnt seem to do anything with this. Also, If you';re attacking, cavalry cant get through a wall without someone opening a gate.

So whichever sides initiative on the attack takes, well.. My side, yer fighting 12 to 9, Your side, you're fighting 14 to 9.

Actually he does. +1 to Tatics, I think it was approved by a Gm. And me and CG/Nuke talked about if getting people drunk off their asses is considered tatics when I tried to take that pirate ship.

And yes, but split tactically to cause the most damage to the enemy. Like I said, we sally forth, destroy some troops, link up and bobs yer uncle.

Back down Taricus, you can see the math supports me, this goes poorly for you. Take a breather. Consult with Nikephoros about strategy.

Sure. But it takes time to get armor on, it takes time to get the horses prepared, it takes time to do a lot of things. Meantime, my forces are doing..stuff that prevents your forces from getting into the fight. Spooking horses, burning tents. What have you.

Tactics are what tactics are. This is the reason I -have- 6 Tactician regiments. And maybe you should have brought more.
Now lets calm down, walk away for a bit. Put this on pause (CG dont roll it, so we dont have to retcon it later). Let some other people take a look at it. Maybe heed the council of Ardas OOC.

Those troops would already be out on the field however. Even then, every regiment that you're holding up needs a regiment to keep them distracted at the very least...

Thats not how the tactic works. Im on the left flank while your troops are on the right flank.

And your forces are by your own order spread out encircling my city. Not all your regiments will be everywhere.

Dude, Taricus, just chill out. Think of some way to even the odds. Like, shreded- no catapults...uh...lets see...
Take stock of your surroundings and assets, and then use them against the enemy. Think about what you have. Everything is a weapon if properly used.
