Well, I guess you control 1/4th of the troops directly. The others are either controlled by Shootandrun or the GMs, and I guess you can take them over after a few rounds. Well, that would make sense.

1/4th? I thought I am the one who organizes the strategy and whatnot. I got the tactics and strength bonuses after all, its only sensible if all soldiers benefit from it.

Well, you're the one that said: "Response time is not a problem. There is Kathos, me and two hired generals. We got all four sides covered." So 1/4th directly under your command, and the rest getting under your command after a few round (time to send messenger and all that stuff) would make sense to me.

Well, if I have all the bonuses correct, Terenos' forces only have a +1 to succeed on the tactics rolls, rather than the absurd +10...

Er, I control Tala's forces for Dwarmin, and I assume Shootandrun commands his own troops. Nikephoros only commands his own and probably Laythe's.

It is up to Terenos whether the AF is willing to forgive you, but the common soldier doesn't know about the contents of a highly-classified letter.
If you want damage control, you apologise to the Arctic Fox in front of both your army and the walls of Mileth, shake his hand, and allow him to return to Mileth unharmed.
