Plus he's one of the best engineers in Ligoria.

I just have to say, Im opposed to skill 'training' beyond level 1 in a given skill. Further training should involve that 3 part quest that was Iituem's 2nd attempt at creating a training system. It still allows training, but it makes it somewhat more difficult than 'oh yeah and I train X'. This is not to say 'oh yeah I train X' shouldnt be used, but it should not be overused.

Well, I've already got quite a few points towards Tactician Rank 2. While I'm not necessarily opposed to this change, if it is made, could those be retconned to something similar that I don't have a rank of so as not to lose the points I already have? Like, say, Swordfighting, or Flanking, or Disciplined, or something?

I'm also opposed to skill training beyond one.
In real life, fantasy and assorted other genres, there is only so much a teacher can show you, without you learning hands on experience by going out and doing it...

William is going to continue killing people until he gets a +2. As long as fighting for your life against other people getting you training points is in, I support whatever changes people decide fully.
