true, dwarmin isn't a complete retard though. So randomness (ie storyline) being rolled isnt so bad, if it were mechanical or -profitable- i'd be upset. Players handing out anything of value is outside their ability without permission

Opiates are a T4 good. You'd need 10d to buy a Size 1 business

The issue with the rolls is that there are no opiate businesses in Shola, perhaps some small time 'mom and pop' sorts of suppliers (in this case, Basement Meth Lab) to the populace. So you'd be building one, not buying out someone else. Or just turning their random BS into a funded and professional outfit. The rolls can be flavor, but that really all they'll be used for. No one is getting a discount on the businesses from NPCs

Fair enough. Other than the last one, I tried to keep the actual resources and skills of the business partners vague. The last one is a honey pot, that would presumably come with lots of other problems.

Medicine is a T2, so 6d, T1s are 4d

Business costs (and i need to go update the wiki) are 2+2*tier per size. You can always upgrade a T1 to a T2 later (paying the difference of course)

If I do that I'll either send a few operatives to another city, or at least wait until I'm getting out of Shola to burn that particular bridge. If I rob Shola's bank though the question of buying a Medicine or Dye business is moot because I won't be coming back. I might check out what Mileth has later and see if Terenos would mind a neutral force buying property in his city.
