Would't it be more prudent to tie the wine production to the seasons? I mean You got grtapes growing only in certain times of the year, and most wime is usually after the harvest, same as with grain according to the seasonal increments. As such the wine production should be dependant on the season, therefore reducing the effective income by at least half. Also, are we talking just winery or a whole wineyard, with fields and whatnot? Because the amount of wine to be sold to make 5d is quite a lot, considering that 5d will buy you couple of regimetns or equals more than taxes from certain places. Therefore having a vineyard technically means land ownership, since you cultivate grapes and you need a lot of hem for the amount of wine that you are selling.

At no point did Shootandrun have the cash on hand or in his business , or stocked away in some secret hole in a tree somewhere, to meet production costs. Production costs being ..I dont know that 2.4 ducats?

He has a business. With funding it can create wine. without you gain no income from selling wine.

However, this is an additional bonus to the business. You're still gaining 1 ducat/year from the business itself. Think small scale production.
Ergo, I'm not sure how long you've had it, but you only gain 1/year.

Actually Ardas the assumption on that sort of business is you're making wine from someone else's grapes - otherwise you'd have a Grapes business

Well my bad. I gained 4.2 ducats from the goods over three seasons, so I guess I lose the upgrades and I have no more money now.

That way you can immediately pay back the queen, and have a bit of cash for things.

She's actually not a Dragon Empire native.

Given that's shes a spy, I assume she would be more like Agent 47-someone whose physical ancestry is impossible or extremely difficult to determine at a glance-with no 'defining' physical marks on herself that suggest a specific racial background, she can generally be whoever she wants to be. Otherwise she wouldn't be a good spy.
