He will get more resources if things go seem to be going well.
But yeah, he has been pretty much been thrown to the dogs. He will have to be clever if he wants to succeed. Which he intends to be, so that's allright.

Prorably, yeah, asian. Longspears, longbows, and light cavalry. And lots and lots of men, because the Dragon Empire has no shortage of manpower.
But its up to Terenos- the Empire is a big place, army styles will vary.

General rumours will indicate, once he decides, where his approximate location is when he enters the Storm Coast (somewhere along the border, from the westernmost imperial city to the grey city state next to Moun). After that, his movements may or may not be general knowledge depending on how sneaky he tries to be and how reliable the rumours from the unclaimed lands turn out to be.
