Ah, now, I'm not sure what SC intended, but I understand that west dalannor rebelled away from the rule of east dalannor.

One would presume that such rebellions were centered around objections to the manner in which the eastern folk ruled the island, and as such the west would no longer uphold a caste system, or at least not one so rigid and central to the state as east dalannor.

Ah, ah. I'm not sure, but one somehow doubts that one could lock down a port for more than a couple of days without experiencing... ramifications. If you want to extend the lockdown beyond, say, three days, you should probably be rolled for to see what the common folk think about it (with consequences ranging up to a medium-sized riot).

Well, as far as Nikephoros is concerned, he just hauled up all the treasure and presented it to the queen, but I saw no rolls or effects on that. I don't even know the value of this stuff.
All that stuff with banishment wasn't told to me and can only be asumed to be in a form of a hearsay, but I had no specific orders regarding the traitors and hatcuri.
I am a soldier after all, it would be stupid of me to act without an order.

And you totally believed every word. She did just say she 'couldn't place the accent' and let Tristan draw his own conclusions. Not even technically a lie. 

See, Tala has no reason to see the crow caught. For one, she admires him. Second, she'd rather have him on the loose, causing havoc and making things interesting for the city.

Thirdly, when and if he gets himself into trouble around Talama, he's going to remember he has a secret ally-her.

Granted, the Crows insane, so it's more likely he'll end up kidnapping Tala and taking her as his captive paramour-it may backfire on her.

@Dwarmin and Taricus: Very well, but he'd still be Eastern Dalannori. The west is very rigidly caste-controlled and if he was from there Tristan would already know who he is and what to look for. Criminals don't get very far there...
