But gods those guys were idiots.
Now I'm going to extract those bones, appease the nieghboring little countries and then go and speak with the queen, after I promptly conquer the rest of the neighboring little countries by killing their leaders.

No. But in YAK 1, I was a somewhat successful scholar-priest who could cast magic. I killed more than 10 regiments with one spell. Course, I was lucky.

Last time the demon escaped and there happened to be a room full of guards and nobles. Your throne room usually only has Laythe and a handful of guards.

Wait, what? I haven't really been paying attention, but did a besieging army just get wiped out because most of them were sleeping?!
Was this sleep induced via drugs, or something? Or were they just utter retards?

Factors against them:
-Only one regiment. Remnants of the castle guard + random townspeople, priests.
-Thought they were up against one guy who had locked himself in the castle. Were not expecting attack from the outside at all
-It was a sneak attack at night
-They had no proper leadership, so they didn't have enough sentries and whatever.
-They were demoralised as fuck because one guy just kicked them out of their own castle after single-handedly killing everyone in charge.

They would have probably just maintained the siege indefinitely. It would have been very boring.

Name: Thomas Talboh

A 21-year-old Human male with magical affinity. Stands approximately 5' 10". His hair is shoulder-length, wavy, and is fairly well-maintained. His face is shaven and he appears quite youthful. At present, his clothes are ordinary. He is not very muscular. His words are clear and he is well-spoken, despite his common birth. His skin is fair.

Born into a middle-class family, Thomas is the second of three children. His father was a moderately successful merchant in the city of Vasir. His young life was largely uneventful; he made friends in the city and established contacts within some of the influential families of the middle-class. At the age of 18, he was approached by a strange old man who wanted to speak to him.

Thomas agreed, and the old man revealed himself to be a lesser mage. The mage revealed that Thomas possessed a strong affinity to elemental magic. The old man then offered to teach Thomas in the ways of magic. Over the next three years, Thomas secretly learned to command the elements; he could manipulate existing sources, or he could tap into ley lines to create new sources. His power wasn't great, but his potential was. After his three years of training, the old mage was discovered and had to flee from the town. Without his mentor, Thomas was forced to practice his powers on his own, and he ended up exploding a house, getting discovered in the process. Thomas stole a bit of money from his father's chest and fled to Galam.

Thomas spent a bit of time in Galam, but found that it was very difficult to advance his power in such a paranoid town. He made a couple of friends, but simply could not find time to train with so many eyes fixed on him. Before long, he caught word of some mercenaries from Vasir who were looking for him, so he decided to flee even further to the city of Talama.

As mentioned in the bio, Thomas has the ability to manipulate existing sources of elemental power (like an existing fire or a thunderstorm, perhaps), and he can also tap into ley lines (because that's all I could think of) to conjure the elements in a more obvious way. As far as elements go, Thomas can currently only control fire, lightning, and air, and not very powerfully, because of his very limited training. Because of his past experiences, Thomas is somewhat afraid to use his powers for fear of getting caught and having to face the consequences of his actions in Vasir.

I do hope that's all acceptable. I'll be awaiting GM approval before I jump in.
