Well, you are ballsy enough to impress Shark. And we are talking about a guy who got his name by asking what the deadliest creature in the Storm Coast was, finding one, and then beating it to death with his bear hands. Which involved swimming for half an hour, cutting himself so the blood would attract a shark, and once the shark was dead, swimming back, this time taking two hours due to injuries and the hauled carcass.

Ain't no rule forbidding you from taking up two characters that I've seen. 

Just make sure they don't work towards each other's interests, since they're completely unrelated.

Then again, a cannonball to the face is more subtle than Shark.

...that's not actually true, Shark can be subtle. It's just that given the choice between punching sharks and being subtle, who the fudge would choose subtlety?

Hey Nuke, be careful about handing out free units. Merc or not, they're still supposed to be following general recruiting rules. Hunts for free regiments should be cap'd, referably to the 1/yr of Personal Guard. I'm willing to bend for 1/season if they're paying 50% more for the unit as a 'hiring fee' like the 1.5 we did earlier for Elf.

I have to agree with Mr. d'Avistral here- Shark may be badass in concept, but he hasn't actually done anything in-game yet- certainly nothing like almost single-handedly toppling a vast conspiracy to the throne of Miring while simultaneously conquering it (single-handedly on account of pretty much everyone being sent to help him dying almost immediately)
