Ah... after meeting with Tala I'll RP him being scorned and disciplined to make Tala's job a bit harder then  she may have to see him off-duty in the future if she wants to extract information

Nono, that just comes if he's getting distracted. What he does off duty isn't worried about too much (Going on an excessive binge on alcohol and such is the exception.)

I was wondering... Is the experience system going to be used for units (they start green, and after their first battle they are bloodied etc...)? And if it is, is it possible to train units to make them more experienced?

If one survived a few areana battles would he be allowed to stop fighting and return as a freeman?

Possibly, But I'd say it would take three years of an undefeated streak to do so, or ten years with any defeats on record.

I too wonder if the XP system is being used and if we could train units beyond basic training.
