Hey boss. I've got a problem.

The man you want me to find... I found him. Problem is, he's imprisoned. I don't think I have the talent to get him out... Nor the money. The whole kingdom wants him dead, so there's no way I'll be able to buy his freedom from one of the guards. I can still try something but... Don't have too much hopes in me.

Here's a little summary of what he did, if you wonder: he besieged the castle of Miring and the forces of 'King Trubaldsome'. And then... I don't know why, but he tried to do a genocide! His troops killed two thirds of the population, or something mad like that! He was defeated by the remaining peasants... And that's why it's gonna be a hell to get him out: everyone knows what he looks like. He's in the dungeons at the moment... I'll try. Gods be good, I'll try.

If Sir Taric can commit genocide, he sure as hell can loot. Kain jumps to the worse conclusions...meaning Sir Taric is considered a greedy bastard by Kain,and is capable of paying mercs to loot your village so you can goto war with Suul.

Well, if Kain is keeping it under wraps then there probably won't be any animosity from Taric. Up until he hears any rumor about it, then there'll be a duel to the death.

Actually, that's if he hears about your theory about him hiring suulian mercenaries. He'd come right out with the truth about Miring if you asked though.

And I don't think that Erik will let such a thing happen, Kain- by the end of this year- will  have taken down granny Mistaris, several Suulain spies,built a castle, planned out a new castle for Erik in Sheepstead, rebuilt Erik's summer palace. Hes too useful to kill.

As a military unit they are currently unproducable, due to the lack of guns.
As a new middle class, Kain would waiver, they seem too powerful to control...
 He dislikes traders but likes the working middle class artisans.
So it depends.

I'm pretty sure Janissaries are just, basically, average soldiers raised from childhood to fight. Could be wrong, though.
And I'm going to laugh if Taric actually keeps wielding a corpse. He certainly isn't going to get a weapon bonus for it.

Actually, Janissaries are more slave-warriors, they were just more commonly armed with gunpowder weapons due to the period that they were most common in. They were commonly recruited as children. They would end up being a sort of middle-upper class too.

Kain would approve of such soliders as long as a years worth of what makes elberth great was beaten into their heads and that recruitment is not based on heredity.
Kain hates the middle class, so no approval.
