I could also help if you guys are feeling pressed to do the turns, adn stuff.

Sorry if I seem rude, and I know my posts aren't the greatest works of literature, but I am highly against this.

I would spell check it before posting of course, I can type correctly, and pretty close to getting all grammatically correct. I just have trouble with placing commas.

I'm McJohnston. I'm currently typing up the task I'm giving you, my pawn friend.

I could also help if you guys are feeling pressed to do the turns, adn stuff.

Well I type pretty fast, and usually don't check my posts for errors.

If we're having a temporary replacement GM I vote Yoink, simply because he writes really interesting and long posts.
No offense to anyone else.

Edit: I feel bad that I'm so quick to start voting for temporary replacement GMs. Ignore this post since I feel like an ass now.  :(

Oh I support this decision. The GM needs a break every now and then, thats only human after all, and if we ever wanted a temporary GM, then Yoink would also be a good choice in my books.

Also, GMing has a lot of responsibilities adwarf, lots of rolls and rule checking as well as making game changing decisions on the spot. I don't think you are experienced enough to do this with such a big and involved game like this one.

A division of labour would be excellent. A GM for all the king involving actions, a GM for the small adventurers and individual actions (pirates, merchants and adventurers and the like) plus this overall GM for overall GMing and handling of other nations. The trick is finding the extra GM as well as deciding who belongs to which section. (Players like myself for example. I tend to act out on my own, since it's my job, but I also have relations to the king. Which GM do I come under?)

Also, limiting the number of actions per season would go a long way to helping the GM's, with some possible exceptions (ie, travel or conversations). This thread and the main thread move DAMN fast at times. 20 pages in a few hours!?! So, slowing things down would be good.

As i said before: There's a lot of 'fluff' and there is also a lot of complete BS posted in the threads. With a seperate OOC thread now, we can keep the main thread down to a page or 2 per GM action rolling. The OOC thread can be kept shorter by people not having pointless conversations in it. I realize its OOC, but if it's not game related - why is it here?

I've never seen anything that isn't related to the game in the OOC thread. Then again, I'm not monitoring it much.
