Oh, as for posessions, I have a castle full of fancy clothes, drugs, varying-quality wine and such...
My hat, coat, and longsword. :P Most of my outfits were, sadly, left in Preston.
I hope Leuki was the same size...

And yeah, Cyclicism in recent. Like, since the game started kinda recent.

Penniles and itemless save for a chest full of clothes and a bag full of notes. A typical merchant's inventory. Oh and a Storm Coast Trade Guild scrip which entitles me to 5 ducats of credit.

...And yes, I'm here just to post on B12 in RP posts. Can't get geekier than that.

Ohjeez, Weasel, that post seriously cracked me up. :) The whole dynamic with Mahtan, Lilith, Gunther and now the donkey and monkey is just classic! Comedy gold.

I've got a single ducat, quarters in a tower, a monkey, an untrained assistant, a wagon, and a corpse.

Incidentally? I think he means people with land or troops. Or other concerns that might alter their status at the start of the new year.

I'm pretty good with unimportant dialogue and coming up with plot devices, I'm just terrible with actions and actually moving the story along.

My favorite line from an rp that I'm going to use in something some day that's actually relevant was.

Person in rp: blah blah well if it isn't mahtan and seno blah blah I believe you still owe me a horse

My response: Well technically we only owe you half a horse, we returned.. most of it.

Possessions of Grand Master Black (Church)

1 ducat (From Preston Treasury)
2 parcels land - 1 Town, Riverfall (Tax exempt) 2d + 1 from town = 3d
1 Temple in Eelspine 2d in tithes
1 Heavy Crusader PG regiment (upkeep 2)
Income = 5
Upkeep = 2
Balance after = 4 ducats

Cyclicism has been around a modest amount of time(More than a couple years). But it hasn't been more than a fringe religion until recently. Grand Master Black has brought it to prominence, but keep in mind King Erik is also a believer in Cyclicism.

I'm not sure how similar Orthodoxy is, or whether the beliefs are similar in terms of belief in resurrection and those who lead good pious lives being reborn into a higher station

I haven't done much about the tenets of Orthodoxy, but there's the belief in an afterlife and bodily resurrection.  Unlike Cyclicism, they believe that God takes you up to his demesne when you die and you are assigned a station based on your virtue, piousness and adherence to the tenets of the faith.  The primary Cyclicist heresy is also the chief difference between their faiths; the idea of reincarnation.  Orthodoxists believe you only get one life and afterwards God makes you a lord/knight/serf/boot-licker in his celestial realm (bad sinners are forced to walk the world after death, prey to demons and other terrible creatures).  Cyclicists differ in that they believe God re-uses souls and assigns station in the next life rather than in the next world.

The Orthodox heaven is pretty damn feudal, actually.

Edit:  With Manskinner's stats I think I have enough to get started.  Going to really get a drink this time and work on that post.  (Also, don't expect much updates from me tomorrow - I'm going to be catching up on all the work I missed today.)

Trade related question: where are Samakhet Islands? Are they in tropics or something similar to South-East Asia in terms of climate? Spices are listed as a trade good and are quite pricey, so i'm trying to figure out how to get them, and  a sub-tropical location is usually the source.
