No, I'm afraid.  You can try and prison break yourself if you get captured by enemy soldiers, but not your unit.  That got captured under game mechanics, and if I let you do that then not only will every player who gets a unit captured try to pull that trick, I will make the NPCs do it as well.

He's not actually the monologue of da Vinci, except in the sense of being a capable military engineer.  Gunpowder is presently a state secret, so its knowledge beyond the walls of Sheepstead Palace is also pretty limited.  Drua has only just started her career in exploration proper, and she picked up cartography to help her with a diplomatic mission to Suul.

There's a limit to which people can try to 'reason' advantages into the game, and it's a pretty low one.  Anyone who's played my games before will know how much I favour using those kind of assumptions against you, so take care.

Well the second part is true.  First part isn't seeing as I've only invented two things so far, and one is only known about by a few nobles, and so far no one's made a ballista unit, so those are only known by the people who watched my demonstration, and there may be some rumors about it since I made it in a barracks. 

Also Leonardo was a painter before he was an inventor.  Meanwhile I've only been in Elbreth for a year or two, and everyone who did know me thinks I'm a witch since I caused an explosion pre-first post.

Plus I'm a total recluse who hates everyone.

There's a good chance he'll be executed if he loses. Even if Taric, Terenos, and Manning show mercy he stands a good chance of being given to the circle once Erik reaches Preston and hears of what's going on in more detail.

Which is kind of sad, really, because I'm rooting for Trubaldsome after the last two posts.

Erik will receive the Grand Master's latest correspondence before the new year (Assuming my post beats Iituem's), but will likely wait before setting out to Preston. He's got stuff to deal with here, after all.

I'm not 100% sure what's going to happen with Zandor now that the bandits are gone, so I'll just skip ahead to Erik's return until Zandor's player posts.
