H3 Cav will take 2 seasons to train by the way. I think i'm going to excutive rule that only 2 upgrades can be done per season. Otherwise it just gets ridiculous

I dont see anywhere that they would be hired outright. Definately not for 2/3 cost with no side effects. My own rolls for public sentiment against the DE were 'meh' at best, not 'omigod jihad'. The discount posting he made is worded towards training and equipment purchasing.
