@Dwarmin: An amusing thought just occurred to me. In most medieval fantasy writings it would be Pasha getting whacked in the head for ignoring training to look at Tala in the window. Nice role reversal there. ^^^

That fact that it's technology you've never seen before? You just need more time with the device to understand it. If all you want to do is make casts of the parts and replicate them, thats not overly difficult though.

Possible but not likely. You only have what 1 regiment? Even a 1v1 fight at docks for a port raid still ends with a lost regiment without raider
